Marlboro Township police confirmed they were called to CPC High Point School in Morganville at 3 p.m. for an unknown incident, but could not report any other details.
Circumstances prompting the lockdown were unknown.
Initial unconfirmed reports said the call appears to be a false alarm but that, as a precaution, police were clearing the school at 1 High Point Center Way in Morganville.
